Family Grounding Ritual

GROUNDING⁠ ⁠ Our attention jumps from one moment to the next, from one experience in the past, to something we hope for in the future, to what we're engaged in right now and to a million other thoughts. This does not serve us in the NOW. And the NOW is the only place we can make change for the better.⁠ ⁠ So what to do about this wandering mind of ours?⁠ ⁠ The answer is GROUND.⁠ ⁠ What? Maybe you've heard about grounding before but no one's really explained what it means or what if feels like. Grounding is using your imagination to release to and receive energy from the Earth. ⁠ ⁠ How? Sit in a meditative pose of your choice. Now close your eyes and breathe. Next start to imagine that you have roots from your bottom and you r feet. Imagine these roots growing into the Earth - past any flooring, carpet, grass, mud, rocks, insects, and allow your roots to grow to the center of the Earth. Food is for Celebration and Health

Celebrate Food - Savor Every Bite! ⁠ Meals should be a time for celebration, during a shift to Ancestral Health foods and forever after. Sure, it may be a little difficult to forgo old dietary norms like cereal, bread, pasta, and baked goods, but keep your focus on the pleasure available instead of what you are missing out on. ⁠ Negativity associated with eating has no place in a happy life: deprivation / restriction / portion control / guilt / has to go. Instead, treat eating as one of life's greatest pleasures. ⁠ Eat whatever real foods you like until you are totally satisfied at each meal, and then feel free to eat again any time you feel hungry. Angie in her Grandmother Snuggle Chair I love my Grandmother snuggle chair. I found her at a second-hand store. When I sat in her, I felt like my Grandmother was hugging me. When she was alive and I was younger, she would hold and rock me. This chair reminded me of that type of safe snuggle. KEEP ANY HOLIDAY SIMPLE TO STAY PRESENT

HOLIDAY CHEER⁠ ⁠ KISS = Keep it simple, stupid. Not at all calling you stupid, but the holiday collective seems to be. Not just November and December holidays, but the whole year seems to be wrapped up in lower vibrations when it comes to what should be celebration in the upper realms. What can you do? Allow this Holiday Season to hold you, too. Many of us are doers -- must get it all done - types. This taxes our physical and emotional bodies. Feeling overwhelmed with too much to do, too much to see, too many places to go frazzles our insides and causes stress. Relax into this holiday season now and for the new year. HOW TO ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS

HOLIDAY HEART⁠ ⁠ What happens between the time when we are children, excited and fully ready for the Holidays and when we become adults, irritated and depressed by them?⁠ ⁠ Hmmmm....⁠ ⁠ I've been thinking about this, watching and listening to many adults grumble about family gatherings, traveling, and the holidays in general. What I've come to notice is it's a lack of forgiveness for the self and for others ⁠ ⁠ Forgiveness, when we're very young, is easy. It takes about 2 seconds for a young child to be hurt, receive an apology, and move on. Adults, not so much. We tend to hold grudges, or not feel the sorry was good enough, or not want to give a sorry ourselves.⁠ ⁠ So, this holiday season, instead of dreading those family gatherings -- why not look underneath that feeling and get to the root of the issue? A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON TOTEMS

TOTEM⁠S have been studied and looked at before, but a download from a deep meditation has opened me up to a new perspective on my totems. Which I'm willing to share. ⁠ Sometimes when we are younger a trauma occurs, and our soul shatters. When this happens, helpers come along to save our young-selves. They shelter those young parts that could not hold that traumatic experience alone. ⁠The gather them up and keep them safe, like a dog collecting toys in her bed. ⁠ I call these helpers and protectors TOTEMS. This is a new way of looking at the spirit animals that come to you in dreams, meditations, and cross your path in the 3D world. ⁠ This is how I came to understand my totems and what they have done to protect me. ⁠ I had a trauma at a young age. HOW TO FIND YOUR CORE AND YOURSELF

Where is your CENTER?⁠ ⁠ Knowing yourself is knowing your center. Do you know yours? If you're wondering what I'm talking about, then no, right now you don't.⁠ ⁠ Your center is the place inside of you that knows. It knows what you're a YES for and it knows what you're a NO for. But sometimes we choose not to listen to it. We allow the shoulds to should all over us.⁠ We allow others to tell us what to feel, who we should be, how we should dress, and act. ⁠ How can you stop living your life for others, but be a good helpful person, and strongly aligned with your center?⁠ This starts with recognizing your goodness. That you are Holy. That you are a loving and kind person - no matter the mistakes you might have made. ⁠ Find yourself. This is essential - your number one job to do and the toughest thing to try because we are torn in many directions by multiple obligations and people which pull us from our core. ⁠And without much training from elders, we are confused...

And you'll wonder where your awareness has been for so long. ⁠ 12 around 1 is source consciousness. 12 = 1 + 2 = 3 the Holy Trinity.⁠ ⁠ There are many places where we see the number 12 around the 1. ARE YOU IN THE FLOW?

There is a poetic flow to life, and we're all around it. Some of us are in the river, floating down the stream merrily. Some are on the shore watching others pass them by. Some are in the depths, spinning and gasping for breath. And some are at the bottom, forgotten how to swim. ⁠ ⁠ It doesn't matter where you are in the flow right now. Just know you're in it. Take a chance and believe.
